Did some more filming for the reality show as a photographer.  Hopefully I won’t end up on the cutting room floor.  I will keep you posted as to when it airs.

Also been shooting a lot of boudoir photography for holiday gifts.  Several have chosen to add some fine art nudes such as this one.

The big news is that I was part of a reality show this week.  I can’t reveal anything until it airs, sometime in December.

Pregnancy was the them as I have been very busy with some amazing future moms creating maternity portraits.    I love it when they bring in some new ideas.  Just when I think I’ve seen it all, they surprise me.

I was published again.  This time in a national fashion magazine called Eliza.  I did an underwater fashion shoot featuring retro swimwear.

Some interesting boudoir photo sessions also added to my schedule.   Their custom books are going to arrive any day.

I also taught a lot of photography classes recently, including studio lighting workshop and fine art nude photography workshop.

This weekend’s introduction to photography class sold out early.  There is still some room in the introduction to studio lighting.  I also added two more introduction to photography class later in the month.

I shot some fun couples maternity photos this week.   I love to shoot couples as part of a maternity photography session.  It is great to show the love for a new baby.

Boudoir photos kept me so very busy this week.  Lots of amazing women came to the studio for the photo shoots.  Everyone wanted to remain private so I can’t show you any photos this time.

My favorite shoot was for Flashes of Hope at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.   A great cause that I love to volunteer for whenever I can.

Summer is here and it is hot, hot, hot!   To start it off the week I shot some fitness photos of a model for a calendar.

So many things happened this week it was great.  I did a shoot for the feature story in Automotive News.  Can’t wait to get a copy.  I love automotive photography.

Taught several photography workshops this past weekend.  Both fine art nudes and pin-up photography.  Everyone had a great time.  This week I will be teaching an introduction to photography class for DSLR’s.   Click the workshop link to learn more about it.

A few boudoir photography clients came in for their photo shoots.  More lucky guys out there will be getting some great gifts.

And a few more maternity and newborn photography clients came in for their shoots.  You never know when the newborns shoots are going to happen, so it’s always a pleasant surprise.

I have a large charity pin-up shoot scheduled for next weekend.   It’s going to be a blast.

 

 

Maternity, Boudoir, Headshots and Models

I photographed a lit bit of everything this week, which makes for a fun week.  As usual I got calls for headshots that were needed right away.  I usually can squeeze a session in same day if the client is flexible on time.

Several boudoir photography clients came in to create that special gift for the man in their lives.  One was a bride to be who wanted a bridal boudoir session to create a grooms gift.  Another was celebrating an anniversary.  And one was just about to turn 40 and wanted to get the photos done to celebrate.  It made for an amazing week.

Maternity photographs were also in high demand this week.  One of the lucky moms was going to have twins.  I’m looking forward to her return for her newborn photo session.

A new model came in to get some new photos for her portfolio.  She was just a beginner but was great fun to work with.

That storm this weekend was needed, we always need rain, but it sure did get cold.  We all survived and it will be way too hot before too long.  This week was filled with boudoir photography, maternity photo sessions and photography classes.

Finally got a few moments to update my blog.  So many shoots this week.  I’ve been doing a lot of shoots for 480 Magazine.   Lots of fun shooting the wonderful ladies that are part of this.

Lots of clients also rented The Studio this week.  I shot lots of behind the scenes photos.

Numerous boudoir photo shoots took place here at the studio and a few on location.   There were a few brides to be, a birthday and a anniversary shoot.  All great reasons to give the gift he’ll never expect and never forget.

And the week wouldn’t be complete with out a few beautiful maternity photography clients.  This week was no exception.  Such an amazing group of woman this past week.

Next week is already filling up with magazine shoots, boudoir photo sessions and maybe a newborn if she delivers soon.  It’s great being a photographer here in Phoenix with so many wonderful people.

I think I did all this week.   I had a ton of clients that needed headshots.  I meet the most interesting people that come in for their headshots.

And what could be more fun for a photographer that shooting some newborn photos for a prior maternity photography client.   The parents are always so proud and happy to show me their beautiful babies.
