Orcatek Photography is now working with CinemaTique Creative Group to produce an wide variety of project including UFOria TV, Soldier (a new docudrama), music videos and educational services.
Of course we will still provide all the services we are known for such as amazing boudoir photography, beautiful maternity photographs, cute newborn photos, head shots, automotive photography and photography classes and workshops.
Probably my favorite project this month has been the creation of Orcatek’s Angels.

And of course I have been teaching. Since my last post (I’ve been busy), I have taught over 100 photography students between classes and private lessons.
Time to catch everyone up on what has been happening here at my Phoenix Studio. Okay, technically Tempe, but drive 1/2 mile north and you are in Scottsdale, and 1/2 mile west and you are in Phoenix, so close enough.
I have been teaching more introduction to photography classes than I can count. Lots of eager students. I love teaching.

I always like to create something in the classic style of some of my favorite vintage pin-up artists like Gil Elvgren.
And just in time for Father’s Day I had the chance to create this touching father and son photo of a newborn baby and his dad.

This past week has been loaded up with photography classes here in Phoenix. There were several introduction classes, a fine art nudes workshop and some private lessons. Next week is just as busy with more intro classes and another fine art nude workshop.
In between I had a chance to shoot some motorcycles featuring some cool new lighting.

My photography workshops and classes are becoming very popular. I have been teaching at least one class a week and have had private lessons in between.
The holiday season is a prime season for boudoir photography, which is why I have been lacking in my blog updates. Lots of men will be getting a very special present this year.

I also shot a lot of maternity and newborn photographer sessions. Some amazing new families came in for their shoots with some of the cutest newborn babies.

The past 2 weeks have kept me so busy that I didn’t get a chance to post until now.

In between teaching I’ve had a lot of fun shooting. One of my favorites was a maternity pin-up photography session. As you can see, we had a lot of fun.

So many things happened this week it was great. I did a shoot for the feature story in Automotive News. Can’t wait to get a copy. I love automotive photography.

Taught several photography workshops this past weekend. Both fine art nudes and pin-up photography. Everyone had a great time. This week I will be teaching an introduction to photography class for DSLR’s. Click the workshop link to learn more about it.
A few boudoir photography clients came in for their photo shoots. More lucky guys out there will be getting some great gifts.
And a few more maternity and newborn photography clients came in for their shoots. You never know when the newborns shoots are going to happen, so it’s always a pleasant surprise.
I have a large charity pin-up shoot scheduled for next weekend. It’s going to be a blast.
This past week I held a boudoir photography workshop is Las Vegas. Everyone had a great time and learned a lot. Some of the students liked it so much they have already registered for my next workshop in Las Vegas in September.
Workshops and classes are available for all skill levels. Starting with introduction to photography and then specialized workshops for just about every need.

This week I hosted the Scottsdale Community College fashion photography class at my studio. The workshop was set up to provide the students an opportunity to work in an actual studio to create some fashion images for their portfolios.
Everyone had a lot of fun and created some great photographs.
