Orcatek Photography is now working with CinemaTique Creative Group to produce an wide variety of project including UFOria TV, Soldier (a new docudrama), music videos and educational services.

Of course we will still provide all the services we are known for such as amazing boudoir photography, beautiful maternity photographs, cute newborn photos, head shots, automotive photography and photography classes and workshops.

Time to catch everyone up on what has been happening here at my Phoenix Studio. Okay, technically Tempe, but drive 1/2 mile north and you are in Scottsdale, and 1/2 mile west and you are in Phoenix, so close enough.

I have been teaching more introduction to photography classes than I can count. Lots of eager students. I love teaching.

Doing more pin-up than usual. The studio is a great place for pin-up photography. Here is a sample pin-up I call Windy Day.

I always like to create something in the classic style of some of my favorite vintage pin-up artists like Gil Elvgren.

And just in time for Father’s Day I had the chance to create this touching father and son photo of a newborn baby and his dad.

Valentines Day had my swamped with boudoir photo shoots. I know there were a lot of very happy guys.

In between there were quite a few maternity photos done too. I wonder if any were a result of a boudoir photo shoot gift.

Lots of headshots, I even found some of my work on IMDB, which is always fun.

I taught a lot of photography classes this month too! It’s been great to be so busy.

The wives on Vh1′s Baseball Wives show decided to make a charity pin-up calendar.  I was selected to be the photographer for the project.  I had so much fun working with these women on their project.   Everyone treated me great and I hope to work with them again in the future.

I appeared in two episodes which can be see on Vh1′s website or on TV.  I am in Episode 2 doing the actual photo shoot and in Episode 4 where we discuss the retouching they would like.  All I can say is that we had a lot of fun, you’ll have to watch both episodes to see.  I am in the second half of both episodes.

My photography workshops and classes are becoming very popular.   I have been teaching at least one class a week and have had private lessons in between.

The holiday season is a prime season for boudoir photography, which is why I have been lacking in my blog updates.  Lots of men will be getting a very special present this year.

I also shot a lot of maternity and newborn photographer sessions.  Some amazing new families came in for their shoots with some of the cutest newborn babies.

Also been shooting a lot of boudoir photography for holiday gifts.  Several have chosen to add some fine art nudes such as this one.

I also been teaching more classes.  Several introduction to photography classes and a Photoshop workshop.  December has a bunch more classes coming.  Check out my photography workshop site for more details.

The big news is that I was part of a reality show this week.  I can’t reveal anything until it airs, sometime in December.

Pregnancy was the them as I have been very busy with some amazing future moms creating maternity portraits.    I love it when they bring in some new ideas.  Just when I think I’ve seen it all, they surprise me.

I was published again.  This time in a national fashion magazine called Eliza.  I did an underwater fashion shoot featuring retro swimwear.

Some interesting boudoir photo sessions also added to my schedule.   Their custom books are going to arrive any day.

I also taught a lot of photography classes recently, including studio lighting workshop and fine art nude photography workshop.

This weekend’s introduction to photography class sold out early.  There is still some room in the introduction to studio lighting.  I also added two more introduction to photography class later in the month.

I shot some fun couples maternity photos this week.   I love to shoot couples as part of a maternity photography session.  It is great to show the love for a new baby.

Boudoir photos kept me so very busy this week.  Lots of amazing women came to the studio for the photo shoots.  Everyone wanted to remain private so I can’t show you any photos this time.

My favorite shoot was for Flashes of Hope at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.   A great cause that I love to volunteer for whenever I can.
