The wives on Vh1′s Baseball Wives show decided to make a charity pin-up calendar. I was selected to be the photographer for the project. I had so much fun working with these women on their project. Everyone treated me great and I hope to work with them again in the future.
I appeared in two episodes which can be see on Vh1′s website or on TV. I am in Episode 2 doing the actual photo shoot and in Episode 4 where we discuss the retouching they would like. All I can say is that we had a lot of fun, you’ll have to watch both episodes to see. I am in the second half of both episodes.

My photography workshops and classes are becoming very popular. I have been teaching at least one class a week and have had private lessons in between.
The holiday season is a prime season for boudoir photography, which is why I have been lacking in my blog updates. Lots of men will be getting a very special present this year.

I also shot a lot of maternity and newborn photographer sessions. Some amazing new families came in for their shoots with some of the cutest newborn babies.

The big news is that I was part of a reality show this week. I can’t reveal anything until it airs, sometime in December.
Pregnancy was the them as I have been very busy with some amazing future moms creating maternity portraits. I love it when they bring in some new ideas. Just when I think I’ve seen it all, they surprise me.
I was published again. This time in a national fashion magazine called Eliza. I did an underwater fashion shoot featuring retro swimwear.

Some interesting boudoir photo sessions also added to my schedule. Their custom books are going to arrive any day.
I also taught a lot of photography classes recently, including studio lighting workshop and fine art nude photography workshop.
This weekend’s introduction to photography class sold out early. There is still some room in the introduction to studio lighting. I also added two more introduction to photography class later in the month.
I shot some fun couples maternity photos this week. I love to shoot couples as part of a maternity photography session. It is great to show the love for a new baby.

Boudoir photos kept me so very busy this week. Lots of amazing women came to the studio for the photo shoots. Everyone wanted to remain private so I can’t show you any photos this time.
My favorite shoot was for Flashes of Hope at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. A great cause that I love to volunteer for whenever I can.

The past 2 weeks have kept me so busy that I didn’t get a chance to post until now.
I’ve been doing a lot of teaching. Introduction to photography, Boudoir photography workshop, Introduction to Photoshop and lots of private lessons. To see what I am teaching next check out Orcatek Photography Workshops in Phoenix.
In between teaching I’ve had a lot of fun shooting. One of my favorites was a maternity pin-up photography session. As you can see, we had a lot of fun.

Record high temps this week here in Phoenix have slowed the photography down. Too hot for fun shoots, so just business.
“Fun shoots?” you ask. Those are shoots I do to develop new techniques or help beginning models out. I like to try to get on shoot in a week that allows me to do something that I can just go off the deep end.
This maternity photograph from last week is a perfect example.

As you can tell, I do go little bit crazy on these shoots.
I did teach two photograph classes and workshops this week. They were a huge success. Several students have already requested to take future classes.
Everyone take care of yourself in this heat. Drink plenty of fluids and stay inside if you can. Also look at donating on your utility bill to help those who need it.
This week it seems I was the Phoenix Pin-up Photographer of choice. And it was a blast.

This week was full of models coming in for portfolio updates. Some were experienced and some were just beginners.

In between I managed to shoot a few headshots for a couple of executives.
Over the weekend I taught my Introduction to Photography class. It was a huge success and I got several emails from students telling how I had helped them.
